An Example of Meritocracy!

Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump's nominee to lead the most powerful military in the history of the world and head of an agency with 3 million employees has been confirmed by the US Senate.
Through all the raucous nomination process, ranging from sexual assault, day drinking and a denunciation from his own mother, we at DOGE would like to draw attention to this important quote from Hegseth during the hearings: "this is about lethality, meritocracy, readiness."(1)
We'd like highlight some of Pete Hegseth's many 'merits':
- Womanizer (3)
- Drunk (4)
- Christian Nationalist (5)
- Fox News host (on the weekends)
- Can't hit a target with an axe (6)
- Served in the military once!
Though many have contributed to this brave new world, we'd like the personally thank Mitch McConnell for his spineless resolve and utter lack of intellect in making it a possibility.(2)
